Mikel Arteta has responded to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who “accused” him that the Spanish coach was unable to cope with big players.

Speaking to the media after the 1-0 win over Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League, the 40-year-old said he had never had players as hard-working as the squad he has now, hinting that the Chelsea striker was not pious.

“People are free to say what they want. I have never had a better group than the one I have now, so hardworking and have a great relationship with each other and with the staff. It is a real pleasure to be part of this group,” Arteta declared.
