Barcelona will wear the logo of Canadian artist Drake on their shirt in El Clasico against Real Madrid on Sunday, October 16 at the Santiago Bernabeu. However, it’s a move they may regret.
For the first time, the Catalan club will wear the logo of an artist and the famous owl of OVO, instead of that of its sponsor.

Drake, winner of four Grammy Awards, is the first artist to reach 50 billion hits on Spotify.

Why will Barcelona wear the Drake logo on their shirt in El Clasico?
Barcelona announced that “Spotify is giving this privileged space on the Barcelona match shirt as part of an initiative that is part of the partnership with the club and is included among the activities that will be carried out within the partnership of both brands to provide innovative experiences for football fans and at the same time help reach new audiences through music”.

“Xavi Hernandez’s players will wear a special version of the shirt in training ahead of Sunday’s match,” the statement said.
“It will feature the singer Drake’s name on the back accompanied by the number 50, but with the Spotify logo on the front.”
Drake’s football curse
In the world of football there is a belief that Drake brings a curse.
The alleged lie that can be aired by the Canadian rapper is unfortunately brought to some footballers after taking a picture with them.
Sergio Aguero, Jadon Sancho, Layvin Kurzaëa, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Paul Pogba missed games or were associated with bad luck after being photographed with Drake.
Drake brings good luck in basketball: Toronto Raptors won the NBA

Drake is the most famous Toronto Raptors fan. He is like Jack Nicholson for the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Canadian rapper was able to enjoy his Raptors win against the Golden State Warriors in the 2019 NBA Finals.
On that team were Marc Gasol, Serge Ibaka and Sergio Scariolo.
