Former Italian player Antonio Cassano has been very harsh in his words about Cristiano Ronaldo.

The departure before the end of Manchester United’s game with Tottenham led to the club ruling the Portuguese out for the game against Chelsea.
Speaking about this situation, Cassano spoke strictly about the “Red Devils” striker.

“You have to have self-love and the dignity to say ‘I’m done.’ His agent and those around him motivate him, but they haven’t realized that he hasn’t been in top form for 3-4 years. This summer he should have said ‘Ok, I’ll go to Sporting, I’ll go to the World Cup and that’s it’, but instead he has put Manchester United, the club with whom he made history, into trouble. He can go to America, China, Dubai. He has nothing to do with football anymore” – said Cassano.
