Karim Benzema suffered a muscle pull in Friday’s training session ahead of the home clash against Sampaoli’s Sevilla. The captain of Real Madrid and the Ballon d’Or 2022, underwent medical tests this morning.
“After the tests carried out today, Karim Benzema has been diagnosed with muscle fatigue in the quadriceps of his left leg,” says the Spanish club’s medical report regarding the 34-year-old striker, who scored one of the goals in the recent 0-3 success in Elche.
