Iniesta revealed that he wants to return to his former club, Barcelona, where he became one of the midfielders the best in the world, but in a coaching role as he ends his football career.
Iniesta refused to return to Barcelona as a player. “It’s not that I don’t want to, I would be very happy happy, but the moment has passed. It would be impossible to compete with the players who are now there,” he said Iniesta.
“I would like to return to Barcelona. I would like to learn and work in a role coach or sports director. I would like to train in different fields and then it remains to be seen.” Iniesta added further.
Iniesta left Barcelona to join Japanese side Vissel Kobe in 2018 after a successful 1ó year period at “Camp Nou”, where he won the Champions League four times between many other trophies.
