Lionel Messi reportedly did not train with the rest of the Argentina squad on Friday, raising doubts about his fitness.

According to L’Equipe, the Argentinian was involved in some indoor gym training three days before Argentina’s World Cup opener against Saudi Arabia.
14 players and three goalkeepers were included in the collective session, including players who have suffered injuries or knocks, such as Lautaro Martinez, Paulo Dybala, Papu Gomez and Marcos Acuna.
On the other hand, Messi, Angel Di Maria, Rodrigo De Paul, Leandro Paredes and Nicolas Otamendi were not involved in training.

The training session at Qatar University, Argentina’s base camp during the tournament, took place in front of almost 400 journalists from around the world.
In addition to Saudi Arabia, Argentina will also face Mexico and Poland in Group C.
