Cristiano Ronaldo’s future seems far away from Manchester United and his departure from Old Trafford is expected to happen as early as the January transfer window.

The Portuguese star gave a long interview where he hit the club leaders, coach Erik Ten Hag, but did not spare some of his teammates either.
Manchester United has announced that it will take measures against Ronaldo and may unilaterally terminate his contract.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Gary Neville have been good friends, but weeks ago the Portuguese ignored his former team-mate by not extending his hand.
However, Neville continues to have sympathy for Ronaldo, even as he expressed regret about the way he will leave Old Trafford.

“Sad that it has come to the point where one of United’s most undisputed and greatest talents has been taken out. It didn’t have to come to this point.”
“A mature conversation between the two sides a few weeks ago would have ensured an amicable exit,” Neville wrote on Twitter.
