The World Championship has started with controversy, the reason for a goal canceled by Ecuador by VAR.

FIFA rules specify that if a player of the team (replacing the goalkeeper) who is performing the defensive phase is behind the goalkeeper, then the opposing team’s players who are more advanced are automatically in an offside position.
Therefore, the Ecuadorian players who had surrounded the goalkeeper of Qatar, are in an offside position, while the number 13, Valencia, is also in an offside position. /
