Harry Maguire has been transformed into the best player in the world for five seconds in England training and fans were amazed by what they saw.

Despite missing out on his place in the Manchester United squad, Maguire has been included in Gareth Southgate’s 26-man squad and is expected to start in the World Cup opener against Iran on Monday.

The ex-Leicester City and Hull City defender has surprised English fans and others after he ‘produced’ some crazy moves in training.

The Three Lions have been training in 33C heat, but Maguire wasn’t deterred from showing off some skills in a clip which has gone viral on social media.

The centre-back grabbed a ball from Bukayo Saka in a small play and then performed an ‘alla-Maradona’ move before displaying incredible dribbling skills and quick feet to ‘send to the shop’ Conor Coady.

He then managed to create space for a shot and forced a save from Nick Pope. It was a sequence that surprised many fans and led to many reactions on social media.

With such beautiful ball control, it’s no wonder Erik ten Hag used the 29-year-old as a makeshift striker alongside Cristiano Ronaldo against Real Sociedad.
