Under the discussions regarding the strict rules for fans during the World Cup in Qatar, it was an American journalist who once again brought up the issue of the LGBT community.

A tweet swept the LGTB controversy at the World Cup in Qatar.
“The security guard refuses to let me into the stadium for the United States-Wales game. You have to change your shirt. It’s not allowed,’ writes Grant Wahl, a journalist who worked at CBS.

He was held for nearly half an hour after wearing a rainbow flag shirt.
Wahl shared what he experienced on his adventure in Qatar. FIFA has insisted ahead of the World Cup that it would have no problem wearing shirts or flags in favor of LGBT rights during the tournament. The reality is different before Qatar’s actions.
