Cristiano Ronaldo has received his first offer since agreeing to terminate his contract with Manchester United – with a strange take-it-or-leave-it offer of around €40 a week.
AFC Crewe, 14th in the District League Premier Division, have had the audacity to make a bid for the five-time Ballon d’Or winner.

Ronaldo will have plenty to do when he returns from the World Cup, with league leaders AFC Crewe eagerly awaiting his response.
They wrote on Twitter after Ronaldo’s departure from United: “We can confirm that the club have made a formal approach to sign free agent Cristiano Ronaldo on a one-year deal.

“If Cristiano were to accept the offer, he would become AFC Crewe’s highest-paid player, earning €40 a week.”
Ronaldo agreed to part ways with United for a second time after his explosive interview with Piers Morgan in which he attacked many figures at the club
