Real Madrid have renewed their interest in Manchester United’s creative midfielder and Portugal’s Bruno Fernandes. The 28-year-old has had a fantastic start to the World Cup, registering two goals and two assists in Portugal’s first two group stage games According to the newspaper Mundo Deportivo, these performances have prompted Real Madrid to send scouts for the first time Fernandes, who will be in action today (Friday) against South Korea.

Los Blancos were previously interested in signing the Portuguese while he was at Sporting Lisbon. He joined United in January 2020 for €63 million and has a contract until 2026.

As a result of his performances so far in the World Cup, Real Madrid has reactivated interest in Fernandes. They are looking at midfield targets and have been heavily linked with Jude Bellingham, as well evaluating players like Enzo Fernandez and Stanislav Lobotka with interest.
However, United are willing to sell for a good offer and Real Madrid will have to pay much more than the 63 million euros that the English team paid for the Portuguese midfielder
