A fan has been ejected from the stadium during the quarter-final between Portugal and Morocco after throwing water at Cristiano Ronaldo. The incident happened at Al Thumama Stadium while Ronaldo was still on the bench, having started the next match as a substitute. Pictures showed a fan who appeared to be throwing water at the Orange legend from a plastic bottle. The unidentified man appeared to have been criticized by several other fans who were sitting near him. A video has appeared on social networks where the fan is captured by the security forces of the stadium. It was then said that he was escorted out of the stadium after the incident.
